Sincere condolences to June's family. June was a part of our lives for many years. We got to know her and Mickey way back when we all lived in the Donalda community. June was always, as I remember, like the " energizer bunny". She was always involved in the community. Many memories from curling clubs in Meeting Creek and Donalda. Auntie June, as our family always called her was always busy with something. My favorite memory is from when I was maybe 12 years old and was in Donalda on saturday night with my uncle and grandpa and I went to the movie while they did there business. This was when Mickey and June were dating and they were at the movie. They sat in the back row and I sat a couple of rows ahead of them. During the movie there were many "strange" noises reaching my ears and I had to look see what was going on behind me. I was pretty nieve but got a quick lesson on what happens between two young lovers when they think no one is watching. WOW. I have never forgotten that. Auntie. June sewed Pats wedding dress when we got married, helped us butcher chickens and many other things. A true friend and great Neighbor. My daughter Jodi and her husband Gary purchased June and Mickey's home place and have raised their family there. Gods Peace to June and all of the family. To All Family- This is truely heartbreaking news as June will always hold a special place in my heart and in the hearts of my family. My parents ran a Home Hardware business out of Donalda that later moved to Bashaw and she worked part-time as a store keeper for upwards of 10 plus years always eager to help out when needed. I remember working many hours alongside her and she always had good humour and worked hard at everything she did. My parents also shared in her passion of curling so often we all gathered at the curling rink to either curl with her or eat her burgers and pies! Very good cook indeed! And seamstress as well. There were probably not many things that June couldn't do and she always gave them her best with a smile. Lovingly cherish all the great times we shared with her and family and send out condolences to all her loved ones. She will be remembered as one of the "best" and know she leaves big shoes to fill for all that knew her. May her heart and soul rest peacefully now with Mic and other fellow loved ones! Hugs to Family!

So many amazing memories of my sweet aunty ! She absolutely without hesitation made a person feel Welcome and loved! I hope you and uncle mic are dancing up a storm. You were such a example of love and adoration with one another !!
