Dr. Drummond was an excellent doctor. My mom, Anne Spencer, said that he was so good to her. Mom lives in Heritage House and Dr. Drummond one day was so proud of mom for becoming a little more independent. He was truly dedicated to his work, and made a huge impact on Stettler, Alberta and Scotland. Dr. Drummond your memory will be with all of us forever.

I am so shocked to hear of the death of DR. D. He was such a good man,, a wonderful doctor, and a Leader in the Medical Community in Stettler.
My family moved here in 1980, and he has been my Doctor for many, many years, since the retirement of Dr. Heaven. His knowledge, experience, and care for his patients speaks well for the man, and he will be sorely missed by hundreds of patients, staff, Healthcare workers in all departments in Stettler. and his unending list of friends.

Dr. Drummond was my family doctor for 40 years. He delivered my youngest. When he left Provost and moved to Stettler we continued to drive there to see him. He was an extremely smart man, could diagnose most things without having to go to a specialist. He had a wonderful sense of humour and always seemed to have unlimited time to spend with you during appointments, he was so caring, always interested in the whole family. We always left feeling like health issues had been completely dealt with and we trusted him completely. We definitely will miss him, he was a wonderful person and doctor. Our condolences to the family.

Dear Maureen and family of Dr. Drummond,
I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Drummond was kind to me and my family, and an advocate for my Dad (Norman Dennis) in the medical system. He was well respected by me, my Mom (Geraldine Dennis) & family, and my Dad, who also recently passed away. I do not think, Dad would have lived as long as he did with cancer and other complications without the care and attention of Dr. Drummond.
He will be greatly missed.

Dr Drummond was an exceptional doctor and a very caring physician, He once said that in his early days practising in Glasgow that he saw everything which made him so knowledgeable. He always treated his patients with great kindness and understanding,
Over my years with him, his opening question was always about the state of the Scottish National Soccer team, followed by comments about the great Glasgow rivalry between Celtic and Rangers. May he Rest In Peace. My condolences to Maureen and the family.

He was so kind and such a great teacher - I always enjoyed our morning coffee before clinic would start and his funny quips about life and practicing medicine. I continue to quote him to this day. My Deepest Condolences to you all, he was my Doctor for 12 years for myself and my son Robert. I have to share a funny story, When Robby was little we went into Pharmasave , where Fiona was working and he looked at her and said “you look like my Doctor “ where she smiled and replied “I sure Hope so he is my dad”. Dr. Drummond also helped save my life once by sending me to Red Deer where had I NOT been there already I would have died. So very thankful , he will be missed.

Years ago, when I worked with Stettler Ambulance, Dr. Drummond allowed me to assist him in the ER, patiently teaching me so many things, all the while teasing me with his wicked sense of humour. I knew that if he took the time to tease and teach, you were alright in his eyes. He looked after my husband’s family; always an advocate for their care and later my daughter was one of his medical students while she did her family medicine rotation. Dr. Drummond was no one’s fool; extremely intelligent and behind that razor sharp wit, a very kind, dedicated and caring man. Thank you, Dr. Drummond, for keeping it real - you will be greatly missed.

He was my Dr. for thirteen years he is by far my favourite Dr. to date. I never felt rushed out and I always felt he heard my concerns. He took amazing care of me and my five children, four of which he Dr. through to their birth. He will be very missed, he was a wonderful man.

Dr. Drummond was my preceptor during my residency and he was one of the best teachers I have ever had. He taught me medicine but also about more than that, about people and life.
