I met Frank only once, in May of 2016. I was out taking photos and was at Skybo School when he drove by and stopped. He probably wondered why an obviously out of place person was out here alone checking out old buildings. He told me he attended that school in the 40’s and had to walk 2 miles. He also showed me some flowers that had bloomed there since he was a boy and told me about the school. We had a long chat and I remember it well as once of my best days of backroad exploring. Someone I know from Donalda, mentioned his passing and I wanted to share this.

Hadie and Entire Family....Was so saddened to hear of Frank's passing....I know he will be dearly missed and felt privileged to have been a friend to him and entire family.. Aunt Hadie and family, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Frank. He was such a constant in so many peoples lives, because he cared. I know he was one of Mom,s favorite visitors these last few years, as he had a nice loud voice, and of course, his story telling talents kept her entertained. He will be missed.

Dear Aunt Hadie and family, we are so sorry to hear of Uncle Frank,s passing. Just reading through the condolences, you see a very popular description of Uncle Frank….he was a very caring person, who made a real effort to keep in touch with persons, and enjoyed socializing, and yes , he told some great stories, I think he was my Mom,s favorite visitor, because he had a good strong voice, and some good old stories! We will miss him, he was top shelf!

Aunt Hadie, I am sad to hear of Uncle Frank's passing. My heart goes out to you, Don, Eldon, Norm, Ward, and their wives and families for the deep loss that you have suffered. I have fond memories of Uncle Frank. When he was amused his laugher was hearty, his eyes danced, and his shoulders shook. I think that he remembered the names of everyone he met and he was interested in their lives. He was a kind brother to my mom, usually showing up at her doorstep with a litre of chocolate milk and a few good stories to share. He was very dear to our family. Please accept our condolences. My Granny (Ruth) and I share a very fond memory of Uncle Frank. Every time I visit her we talk about the thrill ride he gave us. He will be so terribly missed by my Granny and myself. Thinking of you all, sending my love.

So sorry to hear about your loss….Uncle Frank was a very caring and compassionate person and he was a very good brother,he also enjoyed meeting and talking to people ,he enjoyed a good story and always had a story to tell himself ,we will miss him. Rod,Elaine and family.
