My deepest condolences to the Dyki family with the loss of Brian. Brian and Joan were so good to Melissa and I as young teachers in Castor. I loved his honesty and sense of humour . We always felt welcome and had lots of laughs at the Dyki house! You are all in my heart as you grieve the loss of your dad and Grandpa!

I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Brian’s passing. Brian and I first met when he and Joan purchased the former Revelstoke store, and joined Home Hardware. I remember that day when we shook hands, and I told him I would be back to provide training on Home’s programs and the home improvement industry. Lots of great conversations and many laughs were shared over many nights at the kitchen table, as well as at the original store. A true Friend for years who will be missed.
Brian’s support to the Home Hardware program, his commitment to the community and his engagement with his customers was cherished and will be remembered by many.
My deepest sympathies to Joan and to your family.

I'm beyond shocked and saddened at the loss of my great buddy Brian.
We we're childhood friends, next door neighbors and together as teenagers started one of the worst bands of all time:)
Brian was a solid, fun loving hilarious guy and I'm so happy we stayed in touch over the years. I last saw him a few years ago at the Museum fundraising event in Castor, Brian was his usual funny friendly self and we enjoyed some great laughs together.
My sincere sympathy to Joan, Scott, Mark and Maegan his fantastic Mom Eileen and brother Greg and sister Chris.
