I'm sorry to hear of Auntie Lou's passing. While we weren't as close with our Castor family as we would have liked to have been; she still managed to be a significant influence in how I have lived my life. We we were in Castor for Aunt Doris's wedding to Drew, I had cut all my hair off after the wedding against my father's wishes. I may have also said something that was rather cruel to Patrick when he got upset about my hair...What I remember most is Auntie Lou asking to speak to me privately. She took me aside and said something to the effect of it was important to be myself and be true to myself however I had to do it with kindness and compassion. Incredibly wise words that I took to heart and have tried to live everyday. Thank-You Auntie Lou, you shaped many in a positive way. Hugs to Uncle Doug and all of my cousins. I would like to extend my deepest and sincerest condolences to Doug, Stu & Bev, Cheri & Roger, Kelly & Corinne, Tracy & Curtis,the grandchildren and the great grandchildren. Lou always seemed so full of life, and had love not only for her family but her friends. It was an honour getting to know Lou through Cheri, and I always enjoyed every moment I was around her and Doug.
