I met Brenda while visiting my Dad at Bethany Meadows. She was a warm, engaging person. My Dad had a soft spot for her as she was very welcoming when he first arrived. My Dad was impressed with how knowledgeable she was on a variety of subjects. He sat at the same table for meals with her for a period of time and I know he misses her smiles and being able to chat with her.

Growing up with Brenda I have so many memories. She lever let anything hold her back from doing what she wanted. We played soccer and she played too... she had an infectious giggle and once she started everyone got laughing too. She laughed with her whole self. She knew everyone’s full name and birthdate what an amazing memory If she liked you she liked you forever. If she was mad you knew about it. Haha. Rest easy Brenda. You have some great company up there. Enjoy your angel wings

Dear members of Brenda's family, my condolences to you for the loss of Brenda. As the former (now retired) chaplain at Bethany Meadows, I was blessed to provide spiritual care to Brenda. She participated in most of my programs and activities, as well as the Sunday morning worship services. She was appreciated by other residents and staff as a friendly, hospitable person. I’m very sorry to hear that Brenda has passed away. I had the pleasure of looking after her at the Meadows for many years. She usually had a big smile and loved to give hugs. My condolences to all of Brenda’s family. I had the absolute pleasure of getting to know and work with Brenda. She truly was an inspiration to me. No matter what obstacles she went through, she always had a smile on her face and was always determined to be positive. When visiting with her she would always have a new joke for me to bring back to my daughter and tell her. We looked forward to our visits.
