It's seem like forever years ago that Cat became Tacoy Ryde's biggest young fan. A character and huge personality even at that tender age. I was also a tag along. I should confess
I enjoyed many times and many discussions with him I we the years and was always happy to see him. I'll miss that going forward. RIP

So sorry to hear of the passing of Philip. I remember his dry sense of humour, blatant honesty and his love of debate as a classmate and at social gatherings. Although our paths have not crossed for a number of years, I have many fond memories. My condolences to the family.

My sincerest condolences to all of “the cat’s” family.
From the very first time I ever met Phil (smoking in the rotary park campground shelter on his way to school) he always left me with smile on my face or a grin in my mind! Being a strong supporter and fan of the Stettler Sabres where so many many laughs were created thanks to Phil. He was a great friend to many.
I think we were all pretty lucky to have had him bless us with his presence. He was truly “The Cat”

"CAT". Very sorry to hear of the passing of Phil. Its been many years since we spoke. Phil was our de-facto Manager of the Stettler J's slo-pitch team in the mid-80"s. We had tons of fun and loads of laughs. I hope he got to see the Lakers win another championship. Sincere condolences to the Miazga family. R.I.P. big fella!

I am so sorry to hear of Philip's sudden passing. I have not really seen him since we were kids, but I do fondly remember Uncle and Auntie loading up the whole family in that station wagon and coming to visit us in Lumsden. One visit a long time ago was memorable because the family was on their way across country to Montreal, I believe going to Expo 67!! I thought that was so exciting and I will never forget that. Rest In Peace dear Philip.

Although I haven’t seen Philip in many years (likely that last time was in the 70’s when your family was visiting ours in Lumsden), we are so sorry to hear of his untimely passing. A life taken far too early......please accept our condolences on your loss.

To Phillip's siblings and family (and all our cousins)
Keep close the memories of Phillip ( and everyone) from all the family gatherings over the years, cherish the laughter, stories and family history still ringing in our ears! In these difficult times, it feels like it will be forever before we can all be laughing together again, pray that we ALL can soon be together. Know we are with you in spirit as you say good bye to Phillip.
Will remember his infectious laugh and smile from our last family reunion. Big man with a even bigger personality.
Will raise a toast to Philip on Friday .... Rest easy Phillip, your reward awaits you.
With sympathy,
Brenda & Tommy Baker
