Dear Auntie Irene & family, We were sorry to hear of Uncle Ove's passing. It's never easy to say goodbye to one so close to you! I have many pleasant memories of our families being together and Uncle Ove always had a big, big smile, hearty chuckle & a warm heartfelt greeting. I remember as a child visiting your farm and was taken out to see the pigs, walking through slippery mud.... this city-slicker of a cousin couldn't handle it for long....I was back in the house pretty quickly. Another time Auntie Irene cooked a duck for Thanksgiving. I was a little nervous about trying it, but was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was! You'll miss his presence around you; he's left a big hole in the family & household, but you can be oh so thankful that he embraced, lived for & loved truth. Love, Tim & Cara Radbourne

Last couple of days I been thinking and talking a lot about my years working for Ove. That was a good school for me, and Ove was a good example of a person and a Christian. He gave me good advice about how to farm and live. I wished to go back and see him, and all of you. but as a farmer days off from farming or a vacation are rare. I am wery glad I did call him to tell about Arne. It gave me a last good memory of him and his voice. The distance in between us are long, but our prayer goes nearer. I think of you all and pray for your strength. These words are my own. I stand for it and it can be read out for everyone at memorial ceremony Mvh Magnus Wämmerfors

Our deepest sympathies to Irene, Tanya, Jeannette, Gus and extended family. The news of Ove's passing has rocked our world. Ove was VERY special to us. We were very lucky to have worked alongside this extremely knowledgeable, wise, calm and witty man (our host father) who was interested in everyone and everything that came in contact with him.
