Where did the time go-wasnt that long ago(or so it seems) that we were in high
school in Stettler.
Spent enjoyable times at the farm with Doug-never did get to like the shetland pony
Always enjoyed the opportunity to watch Doug catch hardball-always amazed at his strength and his agility- a true gentleman in life and sports.
Our sincerest sympathy to the family
Lamont and Doreen Gygi

I offer my deepest sympathy to the Martin family on Doug's passing. Doug was a very supportive member of the Petroleum Services Association of Canada for many years while he was active in the petroleum industry. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Doug on many issues and projects undertaken by the association. Doug was one of the most gentlemanly individuals that I have ever met.

Doug's Family - I well remember often seeing Doug in his J&L days on 9Ave. making the routine sales calls - always a friendly smile and hello.
Gene and I had the pleasure of knowing him better during many years in Rotary, and serving on his Board, while he was President. He was a good man, a friend to all of us, and a great contributor.
Our Sincere Condolences -
Gene and Wes Stephens

We are sad to hear of the passing of Doug. We had the great pleasure of enjoying Doug and Verneil's company at our office for many years. It was always so wonderful to see how they doted on one another, their love so obvious. We loved hearing about their work with Rotary International. May they rest peacefully.
