In Loving Memory Of Gail Lorraine Johnson
December 27, 1946 – November 24, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Lorraine Johnson of Stettler, Alberta, beloved wife of Ed Johnson, who passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, at the age of 77 years.

Gail was born on December 27, 1946, and throughout her life, she was known for her vibrant personality, warmth, and love of life. She was a dedicated wife, a devoted friend, and a cherished member of all the communities that they lived in. Gail had a passion for travel, camping, boating, and swimming, enjoying the outdoors to the fullest whenever she had the chance.

Gail was a “people person,” known for her outgoing and friendly nature. She had an incredible ability to connect with others, which made her a beloved member of the local Legion.

As a successful businesswoman, Gail owned and operated several hairdressing shops, where she trained many aspiring hairdressers and helped them start their careers. Her contributions to the industry and the mentorship she provided will be remembered by those she mentored and worked alongside.

Gail is survived by Ed her loving husband of 39 years; children:  Troy (Cindy) Nielson, Angela (Lee) McKenzie, step-son Tim Johnson; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sister Sandy Chartrand; brother Kelly Bunch; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends who will remember her for her kindness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.

Gail was predeceased by her parents William and Norma Bunch; sisters Patsy Balog and Beverly Bunch.

Gail’s bright light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
