Pamela Anne Bowron was born on May 20, 1947, in Victoria, BC, and passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 17, 2024, in Stettler, AB.
She was the beloved daughter of John and Dorothy Bowron and a sibling to David, Diane, and Stephen. She was raised in Port Alberni, BC and later moved to Victoria, where she met her husband, Lance Penny, beginning a love story that spanned 57 years. Together, they raised four children - Michelle, Daniel, Philip, and Bethany - and welcomed seven grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Pam was a devoted mother of four children and faithful partner to Lance, working by his side as a pastor’s wife. Known for her devout Christian faith and gentle, caring spirit, she was active as a church secretary and a community volunteer. Pam’s tender heart extended to animals, and she often cared for strays alongside her own.
She was predeceased by her parents; siblings Diane and Stephen.
Pamela is survived by her husband; her children; her grandchildren, and her brother David.
Pam’s kindness, warmth, and devotion to family and faith will be deeply missed.
John 11:25 - Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live”.
