Doug passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Stettler Hospital & Care Centre at the age of 88 years.

Doug is survived by his loving wife Shirley; daughter Kim (Darcy) Wraight; grandchildren Jeffrey (Libby) Larkin, Emma-Elaine Larkin, Paisley Larkin, Waylon Larkin, Devin (Kaliesha) Larkin, Ryder Larkin, Mila Larkin, Benson Larkin, Kevin (Krysta) Wraight, Lyxi Wraight, Trevor Wraight and Scott Wraight; brothers in law Bob (Shirley) Raynard and Wayne (Christine) Raynard and their families:  many cousins and their families (including two in Norway); other relatives and many friends.

Doug is predeceased by his parents Hans and Charlotte Stormoen; brother Gerald (Arlene) and nephew Mark Stormoen; chosen brother Dan McCallum; sister-in-law Virgina (Robert) Taylor; two brothers-in-law Lloyd (Helen) Raynard and Chuck (Gwen) Raynard; father and mother-in-law Charlie and Grace Raynard.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Stettler Funeral Home, Stettler, Alberta. Memorial Donations may be made to the Stettler Health Services Foundation, Stettler Hospice Society or a charity of your choice.
