Arthur Marion McCarty

Arthur Marion McCarty passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years on April 9, 2024. Marion was born in Stettler, AB on June 13, 1931, to Russell and Ada McCarty.

Marion grew up on the family farm in the Red Willow area and later worked there for many years. He continued to live there with his sister June until health reasons forced them to move to Stettler where they owned a trailer in Emmerson Acres. Marion continued to care for June until her passing in 2014. Then when his health declined in 2017, he had to give up living in his trailer and he moved to Points West Living in January 2018.

Marion was predeceased by his parents Russell and Ada McCarty, siblings Mervin, June, Iris, Jim, Myrtle, Rose, and Roland.

Many thanks go out to the caring staff at Points West Living. You certainly enhanced the quality of Marion’s life, making him feel happy, loved, and secure during his last six years. Points West certainly became his “Last Home”.  We thank you all!
