Donna Robinson

1954 ~ 2024

Donna Marilyn Robinson peacefully passed away on March 19, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.  She was born on September 30, 1954 in Camrose, AB and attended Donalda School and Wm. E. Hay Composite High School.  Donna met and was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Norman Robinson, in 1976.  Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Donna was a devoted mother and grandmother to her three children, Tannis, Kent, and Donavan and her seven grandchildren Abbigail, Tova, Grayson, Lincyn, Oliver, Dax and Weldon.  Her unconditional love and unwavering support were constant sources of strength for her family.  Beyond her role as a mother, Donna was known for her kindness, generosity and all the ways she enriched the lives of those around her.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends.  Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Donna is survived by her loving husband Norman Robinson; daughter Tannis LaRose; sons Kent (Janelle) Robinson and Donavan Robinson; sister Laverne Shaw; brothers Norman (Bonnie) Montgomery and Wade (Carol) Montgomery; her grandchildren; and many brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and dear friends.

Donna was predeceased by her parents; Lester and Elizabeth Montgomery; parents-in-law Jim and Phyllis Robinson; sister-in-law Patti Everson; brothers-in-law Bruce Everson and Stan Walgenbach; nephews Lyle Shaw and Lee Robinson and nieces Ann Marie Brain and Shelby Diegel.

May she rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. After a private graveside service, friends and family are invited to join together to honor and remember a truly remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many.

Spirit Respite Ranch, Stettler, Alberta

Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ALS Society, STARS, Spirit’s Respite Ranch or the Omega Circle in memory of Donna, reflecting her spirit of generosity and compassion.
