Jeff spared for Carolyn's curling team when she was my skip. I'm sure he could drill a rock through the back wall of the rink and he carried the rock far with his sweeping; he was that strong. He was very congenial and smiled the whole while even though he didn't know much about the game. We always enjoyed when Jeff helped out our team. Such a loss. Condolences to your family. My deepest sympathies to the family. Such a sad loss of a son so very young. I am Grace Skaley’s daughter, living in Ottawa. I remember fondly Uncle Art and Auntie Sharon on my visit to Grandma and Grandpa on the farm so many years ago and our visit to Gatsby in 2009 for the burial of our dear sweet mom. I was so very, very saddened to hear about Jeff. He was a pleasure to teach in grade 3 with his infectious smile and easy going manner. He was always so kind and friendly. Harlan mentioned how polite he was and always said "hi" to him at the Auction Mart. Our deepest condolences to all of Jeff's family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad and difficult time.
