I'm so incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Oma. She was an outstanding example of love, compassion, hard work, and integrity. She always seemed filled with light, and it shone through the sparkle in her eyes. I always remember how unconditionally accepted I was when I entered into Steph's life, and how she made me feel like I was part of her family. I also remember her hugs, and how I could feel both literal and metaphorical strength in them. I am sure that she motivated all those around her to be better people, and lead by example how to love and support those around her. For sure she inspired me in this way. She will always be remembered for all these reasons and more. Her spirit and joy will live in all who knew her, but especially in her beautiful family.
