August 13, 1944 ~ December 10, 2023

 

With heavy hearts, the family of Ken Johnston share with you the news of his peaceful passing on December 10, 2023. Ken was a loving, kind husband, father, grandpa, and uncle who enjoyed great jokes, afternoon drives and old-time country music.

Ken was a wonderful, gentle man who always had a positive attitude no matter the circumstances. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

His heartfelt legacy will carry on with his family, he leaves behind; His wife of 55 years, Mary; daughters De (Patrick) Galesloot and Corrine (Conrad) Van Straten; grandchildren, Logan, Kendra and Parker Galesloot, Cara, Keith, Kylene, Curtis, Cole, Keegan, and Kevin Van Straten; and numerous relatives and dear friends.

As per Ken’s wishes, there will be a simple graveside service at the Lake View Cemetery, Stettler, Alberta on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 1:00 PM.

Memorial Donations may be made to Stettler Health Services Foundation, Bag 500, Stettler, Alberta T0C 2L0.
