Larry will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife of 14 years Belle Nelson of Donalda; son Jeff Nelson of Wadena, SK; daughters Lisa (Craig) Properzi of Red Deer, and Michelle (David) Leitch of Martensville, SK; stepdaughter Tammy (Kevin) Gerlitz; stepsons Russ Richelhoff (Laura), and Ben (Juanita) Borzash; grandchildren: Jessica Nelson (Mark) and great granddaughter Brinley, Jordyn Nelson, Tyler Properzi, Ian Properzi, Sarah Properzi, Allie (Alex) Smith, Ethan Leitch, and Taylor Leitch; step grandchildren: Jayden, Brooklyn, Austin, Hayden, Hunter, Hudson, and Harrison; siblings: Donna (Bruce) Lazar, Landis (Bea) Nelson, Rick (Dalice) Nelson, Roxie (Owen) Wickstrom; brothers in law Don Hanley and Larry (Teresa) Donald; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, many dear friends and neighbours.

Larry was predeceased by his sisters Maureen Lupien, Marjorie Hanson, Durelle Hanley, nephew Justin Hanley, parents Rose Nelson and Ernest Nelson.   

It was Larry’s wish that no formal funeral service be held.

Donations in memory of Larry are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
