To Ben ,Malcom and Melanie! I was so sorry to hear of Phyllis's passing and so distressed that we did not know about the funeral!
Phyllis and Ben were wonderful neighbors when we lived on the farm .I always took my art projects at school to Phyllis to get her talented opinion and her help. Phyllis and Ben used to take my sister and I to Stettler to the movies when we were young! Just so thoughtful
and caring. She will be missed by all who knew her.

My sincere condolences, Ben, Malcolm, Melanie and families. Phyllis gave me a painting as a housewarming present for my Vegreville house in 1999. The painting was in the colour palette of my bedroom. How thoughtful. I am in awe of her many artistic talents. I am a great admirer of her gentleness and graciousness. It was always a pleasure to be in her presence. My sympathy on your loss. May her memory live within you and continuously infuse you with her love and essence.

My memories of 'Grandma' Phyllis go back to when I was 16 and spent a wonderful and memorable year working on the Starling Ranch. I always appreciated her smile and laugh! Her love of art and pottery will be a memory of her that will go with me for many more years!
May God be near and comfort you all as a family!
Love from Eric & Rachel Toews

Thinking back to the 50s as young newlyweds. Lots of great times, friends getting together at the old hockey rink, community dances, fun visits to the farm, and lots of fun and laughter around our dinner tables. So many great memories of Phyllis will live in the hearts of all who knew her.
My heartfelt sympathy and love to all the family.
Sincerely, Jean Gilbert

Aunt Phyllis was a remarkable and kind woman. Her warm friendly nature attracted many and will leave lasting memories for all.
A great artist and her subtle pastels were testament to her calmness and character. Her art has a very special place in our home.
Her strong resilient nature was a big contribution to the success of the Starling Farm. How can we ever forget your visit to us early1990's? Your shrewd calculating crib mind will live with us for years to come. To Uncle Ben, Malcolm and Melanie and families our condolences and prayers to you all. RIP Aunt Phyllis!! With love The Crawford's.

Ben, Malcolm, Melanie and all of your families. I will forever remember Phyllis for her artist talents that are sprinkled around Stettler. Along with that is her unending generosity and her benevolent nature. She and of course Ben hold a special place in my memories of Stettler and the great community we live in made even greater by people like all of you.

. . . aah fishing, crib games and laughter! Yes, the memory we share is the many fishing trips to Dore Lake, Northern Saskatchewan. Uncle Benny, Don and I would be fishing and Auntie Phyllis would be painting. One of her beautiful watercolors - ‘the Fishing Shack’ - hangs on the kitchen wall in our home. To Don and I, the painting is priceless. Thank you Auntie Phyllis.
Uncle Benny and family, we send our love and sincere sympathy. Blessings.

We have so many precious memories of Auntie Phyllis, but one of the things I treasure most is her amazing creativity and her willingness to share the beauty she created. We have lovely crèche she gave us over 40 years ago. It is a tender reflection of the humble majesty of Jesus’s birth and is always a perfect start to the Christmas season for our family.
It is also a perfect reminder of the joy, love and beauty she shared with all those who had the privilege to love her and be part of her family.

Aunt Phyllis was a ray of sunshine, the life of any party and a person who believed one could do anything if you put your mind to it! Paul and I are grateful for the fond memories when Uncle Ben and Aunt Phyllis took time to visit us in Pullman and Seattle, our many games of cribbage, our stay at the farm when we dug a pit and roasted a beef roast by gathering up old fence posts to create a dirt oven, and many, many more wonderful moments. To Uncle Ben, Malcolm and Melanie we send our love, we feel your sadness and we hold you forever close in our hearts and prayers. In Christ’s love, Linda and Paul

Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
