Malcolm Richards

On Monday, June 19^th, 2023 at the age of 87, Malcolm John Richards (Mac) left his earthly home to be with his daughter Karen and son Morgan as well as his daughter in law Cathy. Mac passed away peacefully at home, with family by his side.

Mac is lovingly remembered by his wife Trudy, of 65 years, as well as sons Doug (Colleen) and Byron; foster daughter Dorothy Jane (Dave) Freeman; son in law Bill McKnight; sister Jeanne (Harold) Hennig. He is also remembered  fondly by his grandchildren Jason (Sarah), Megan (Nick), Kevin (Brittaney), Tina, Kimberly (Adam), Johnathan (Kat), Peter, Bryan (Amy), Amanda (Damian), Craig, Erika (Greg); foster grandchildren Angela and Heather; 15 great  grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

Mac was a sports enthusiast, especially golf and hockey. He also enjoyed many genres of music. His number one passion in life however, remained his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Stettler Community Hall at 2:30 p.m. At the family’s request please wear bright colors as tribute to Mac’s colorful personality.
