Grandpa Ken was one of a kind.......I have attached my favourite picture. So many wonderful memories of Grandpa as I spent a lot of time with him over the years.....loved his stocks, antiques, visiting with friends and family, driving, caring about the Town of Castor, etc, etc (too many things to list).....Ken and his stories/words of wisdom will definitely be missed by myself and everyone that knew him.

Ken was a real treasure at the Lodge. He liked to share History and Pictures from the past with other Residents. He was a great visitor and had many collections to share that sparked everyone's interest. He was always very kind and appreciative of all the staff. He was very proud of his family and loved to see them. He will be missed. Condolences to the family.

I’ve always looked up to my grandpa, his sharp wit and his passion for the things he loved. I believe his hard working spirit shaped the way I am and I’ve followed in his footsteps in some way. I’ll never know his secret Ceasar ingredient.

Ken was an ambassador to this town still at 97 years of age. He was such a positive man always wanting to visit and go places. Ken loved to travel around Castor on his scooter and go to coffee when he was still able. Visiting his sister Judy was a Sunday ritual. Ken will be dearly missed but we know he will have no more pain. Rest In Peace

Ken loved his family, friends and community. He was a self taught, well read smart man. He was passionate about so many things. He loved his flowers and garden. Also garage sales, collecting and selling of antiques, historical books to name a few. We shared these special interests and went to antique shows together. He liked to be on time and we would go so early we could be only car in parking lot. But he would be first in line!!! Going for coffee with his friends and long drives in the country brought him great joy. I have always been proud of my father in law and will miss him so much!!! I hope he is having coffee with his friends in the antique mall in heaven!!! Marly Wetter

Ken was one of a kind! I was truely honoured to have formed a special friendship with Ken over the last 12 years! Going to rummage sales, dancing together in the lounge, picking raspberries and drinking tea (or the occasional coors light) and hearing all of Kens amazing stories will be memories that I will cherish forever!
