Ed passed away peacefully at the Stettler Hospital on February 17, 2022 with four of his children by his side.
Born to George and Helen Imbery in Pinto, Saskatchewan on May 3, 1938, Ed was the 8th child of 10 children.
Ed married Pat on the 28th of April 1962 in Calgary, Alberta.
Ed and Pat moved to Donalda, Alberta where they raised their five children on the family farm. Ed loved his cows and working on the farm and having a beer with friends.
In August 2012, Ed and Pat moved to their home in Stettler.
Ed leaves to mourn and will be forever missed by his loving family, daughters: Tammy Imbery (Darren Schweer), Wendy (Kim) Kossowan, Angela (Bill) Shauer; sons Ed (Emerald) Imbery and Kevin (Lynda) Imbery; he was a proud grandfather to fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren plus one on the way; he is also survived by sisters Agnes and Verna; brother Donny; nieces, nephews, chosen family, other relatives and dear friends. Ed was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Patricia on May 9, 2017.
Ed was a big part of our lives and will be missed greatly.
A celebration of Ed’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Stettler Community Hall, Stettler, Alberta.
Private interment will take place prior to Ed’s celebration of life.
Donations in memory of Ed are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
