In Loving Memory of Felix Heininger

May 20, 1931 ~ February 1, 2022

90 Years Old

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear beloved Dad, Grandpa, and Big Poppa. 

Our dad has now joined his beloved wife, our mom, Margaret.

Felix will be sadly missed by his loving family, children: Darrell (Mary) Swanson of Mirror, Brian (Liz) Gulliford of Mirror, Jo-Anne Miller of Stettler, Gerald (Marie) Swanson of Victoria, Sharron Hill of Bonnyville, Arlene (Sparky) Uhrich of Stettler and Anita (Lee) Uhrich of Lloydminster; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Franz (Margot) Heininger in Germany; nieces, nephews, other family, friends and neighbours.  

Our father immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1954 and landed in Quebec.  He made his way across Canada to B.C. where he met his wife Margaret and then they settled in Alberta. Felix worked for the County of Stettler and eventually became the Erskine Grader Operator until he retired.

In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially all the little ones.  He was a devoted gardener; his cucumber patches were his passion and he continuously tried to outdo previous years.  You could always count on seeing Felix out puttering in his yard.

He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
