Obituary of Beryl Alexandria Alice Finch

Please share a memory of Beryl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Beryl Alexandria Alice Finch of Mirror, Alberta went home to be with her Lord on October 15, 2021 at the age of 98.  She passed away at a seniors residence in Stettler which had been her home for the past six years.  Beryl was born July 11, 1923 in Heisler, Alberta.  After high school, she attended Prairie Bible Institute and then went to India as a career missionary.  Beryl’s love of India and the Indian people (and their cuisine!) continued long after her retirement to Canada in 1988.  Beryl was an avid letter writer and corresponded with friends and family on several continents well into her nineties.  She also kept a camera close by and documented her travels and ministry.

Beryl is predeceased by her sister Kay Smith, brother Glenn Finch, niece Glenys Hardock, and niece-in-law Jeannie Finch.  She is survived by her nephew David Finch of Calgary, AB, niece Sylvia Adams of Bowen Island, BC, and by several grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

We are planning an online Memorial to celebrate Beryl Finch’s life with the family and friends that she loved and cherished.  We would love for you to join us. We will be gathering remotely using the ZOOM online system. The event details are:
