Dear Bob, Jay, Lila, Janetta and families. I have many fond memories of Della from the time I was a little girl. My dad loved family history and it was important to him to visit his Alberta family and his roots at Halkirk. Of course there were lots of aunts, uncles and cousins there. Because Della lost her mom at a young age she loved to come and visit our McPhee family in Melfort, Sk. She and her family were of included in Colin’s family functions. I was especially pleased when she and Bob showed up at our door in Kyle, Sk several years ago when they had recently purchased a huge motor home. As she and Bob told us of their trip we had lots of good chuckles. She was a special lady and will be dearly missed. Sending love and prayers to all of you Trudy and Daryl Retzleff and family

Our condolences to Cousin Bob and his family on the passing of Della. We remember that every time we took our late mother up to Byemoor to visit her brothers or sister, we often made a wrong turn on a country road. Most times we seem to end up at Della ad Bob’s farm door. No matter what time of day we arrived, Della was always welcoming and happy to see us. She would invite us inside for a chat, coffee, and cake, and then Bob would point us in the right direction. Today and always, may fond memories bring you peace, support, and strength. With our love and deepest sympathy as we remember Della. Your cousins Gwen, Della, Mae Zeegers and Rita Miller
