Obituary of Aline Elizabeth LaRose

Our beloved Mom, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 12, 2021, at the age of 94.

Predeceased by her parents, George and Edna Salmon, her husband, Roy LaRose, her son, Richard LaRose, and her siblings, Bruce Salmon and Bunny Stickel.

Aline will be lovingly remembered by her children, Yvonne (Doug) Stewart of Stettler, Judi LaRose (daughter in law) of Stettler, Stephen (Rosalind) LaRose of Stettler, Jen (Gary) Konschuh of Stettler, Valerie (Kim) Kennedy of Spruce Grove, Doreen LaRose of Stettler, Donna (Denis) Gendre of Stettler, and Rod (Elaine) LaRose of Stettler; siblings, Alec (Marlene) Salmon, Ruth Sehn and Frank (Hadie) Salmon.  There are well over 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, as well as other family members, all who will be missing Aline.

Mom will be remembered for all her homemaking skills, and gardening skills. She also enjoyed curling, playing the game, and in later years, watching the game.  She also took a great interest in oil painting, and completed numerous paintings enjoyed by the family.

Mom spent numerous years employed at the Stettler creamery. She also worked with home care for quite a few years.

Aline was happiest when she had her family around her, and she was admired by many for her kindness, and caring ways, and great sense of humour.

She will be missed.

A private graveside service will be held at Lake View Cemetery, Stettler, Alberta where Aline will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Roy.  In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, S.T.A.R.S. or a charity of the donor’s choice.
