My thoughts are with Fred's family on his passing. He was a great friend to me, always called me his Saskabush buddy as we were from the same area of Saskatchewan. He always had a smile when playing ball, win or lose, and we did have many good times together. He will be missed by many and our memories of him we will carry always.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. I have own you for 18 years. You enjoyed running the green and red hockey team in Stettler. We played hundreds of ball games. One of your prouder times is when you, Wayne and Wes received your rings at the Huntsmen World Senior Games for fifteen years of participation. You’ll be dearly missed my friend you are Pals 30 to me. And you always called me coach. When my time comes, I’ll meet you in the dugout later. Wes

I'm so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. Sincere condolences to his family. Marilyn, my thoughts are with you at this time as you grieve the loss of your partner. It was evident how much you cared for each other. I only met him once for a 5 day time frame when he and Marilyn had come up to Cold Lake and Crane Lake last year. We ate, we drank, we laughed, then we ate some more, and drank some more. I got a real kick out of Fred and enjoyed listening to his stories. He had so much fun here he didn't want to go home and I'm sure he would of come back for another visit one day. He fit right in. I will never forget how hard he had us laughing and the moonshine! Dyborgia friend.

Our hearts & thoughts go out to Char, Lawrence, Marilyn & family
Freddie there are not enough words to express how much we will miss you, our friend! You were part of our family. You and Wayne referred to each other as "Cuz" and it was truly fitting. You were larger than life itself, with all your stories about Baseball, Red/Green Hockey, Horseshoes and even your attempts at the game of Golf. You lived your life to the fullest right to the end.
Live, Love & Laughter were words you lived by. Our friendship spanned over 18 years. There are so many memories, so much laughter and so much Love! Till we meet again!
Love Pat & Wayne

Our deepest condolences to the family. Fred will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed. Fred was my dearest friend and mentor in the grain industry starting in 1981. He quickly gave me the nickname of Harvest and every time we spoke he would call me Harvest. We had many laughs and fun times working together. When I lived in Stettler back in the 80s Fred would come to our home about 5:30 in the morning and say “Harvest, where is the bacon and eggs?” So there we were having breakfast together and waking the household up. Good times. Will miss you good buddy. You are the MVP in Heaven.
