Obituary of Eileen Joan Milne

Eileen was born Eileen Joan Thomas on July 14, 1926 at Nokomis, SK. She took her schooling near the family farm at Seline School. In 1946 she married Harold Milne in Calgary and came to the family farm in Coronation. To this union two children were born, Lynda in 1948 and Raymond in 1953. Eileen spent the rest of her life living in or around Coronation.

Eileen passed away at Coronation Hospital and Care Centre on Feb 9, 2021.

Eileen is survived by her son Ray, grandsons Tal Twa and Lee (Tracey) Twa, great granddaughters Danea and Shania. She is also survived by several nieces, nephew, good friend Leah Twa along with her other friends and relatives.

Eileen was predeceased by her husband Harold, daughter Lynda, son in law Gordon, her parents John and Charlotte Thomas and sisters Jean (Henry) Triffo, Joyce (Carl) Johnson, twin sister Joan (Eigen) Hasz. She was also pre-deceased by her sisters-in-law Elma (Fred) Gaetz, Annie (Reg) Moir, Alice (Nick) Osetsky and brother- in- law Charlie (Annie) Milne.

A big thank you to the nurses and staff at the Coronation Hospital for the care given to her during her stay there.

No formal service will be held at this time and interment in Coronation Cemetery will be held at a later date.
