My deepest condolences to the Schermers Family. I worked with Greg last year, and the fondest memory I have of him was when he asked where to find a Santa Suit to go skiing on Christmas Day. It was a few days before Christmas and I told him, "Greg! You're not going to be able to find one. Maybe you should go as the Grinch or an elf." He found one and took a photo proof to show me the next day. I was beyond impressed!. RIP Greg, thank you for the memories!

I am deeply so sorry for your loss. Greg was my hair client for many many years. He spoke so highly of his girls and his family. My heart was so heavy today thinking of his loved ones. He always made me laugh even though he wasn’t trying to be funny. We shared so many conversations over the years and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I want to share my deepest condolences to Greg's family and extended loved ones at this time.
I was Greg's massage therapist for many years now and I cannot express the shock at this time. Which immediately makes me think of his family. What a profound loss. I will join in on this after with some more focused thoughts around Greg to help celebrate all the good he was.
Love around you all

I honestly have no words for the pain that your family must be feeling and my deepest condolences to you all. My heart breaks for you.
I met Greg in high school as we had lockers close by, if not, side by side. It was a long time ago but, I know that Greg was one of my favorite people, kind and always had a smile everyday. It was absolutely infectious. From what I remember he was always trying to make others happy. It still makes me smile that he knew my love of toothpaste enough he was willing to pose with it in this photo.
He has touched many lives and I am thankful to be one of them.

It’s not suppose to be this way my tall handsome baby brother. Not before me. Way to soon.
You were larger than life, funny, intelligent, fit and knew how to pick a good bottle of wine. I’ll never forget our trip to Vegas for my 50th, and of course you had to bring your own exercise equipment to pump up before the nightclubs opened. Always making me smile just like Dane. You two were were like peas and carrots and I know he was there at the gates of heaven with his hands out to welcome you in. I love you baby bro and will hold all the memories tight. Miss you, Chucky ❤️

I had the pleasure of meeting Greg at the start of the year, as we became workmates. Greg was such a joy to be around, always laughing and joking around. He loved sharing photos of his girls and all their adventures together. Gone too soon, but never forgotten. A great man, and an even better dad. Miss you Greg.

Please accept Dennis and my deepest condolences on the loss of Greg at such a young age. Upon starting work at Bearspaw 17 years ago and meeting Greg we found we had much in common having grown up in Stettler myself. For several years Greg & I would put on our Santa hats and go do the company annual shopping trip for the Calgary foodbank...both trucks full to the brim and lots of laughs. He was a such a kind person and a fantastic and proud dad to his 'babies'. I will miss you buddy. <3

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Although we did not keep in contact much after high school I do have some great memories of spending time with him at my grandpa and grandma Reynolds farm when we were kids. In high school he was just this gentle giant who was fun to hang out with. Sending condolences to you to all.
