Lois Margaret Turville

1936 – 2020

Lois Margaret Turville passed away peacefully on October 4, 2020 at the age of eighty-four years. Lois was born on Feb 23, 1936 in Big Valley, the only daughter of Bill & Marjorie Johnston. She attended Adshead and Vimy Hills Schools, graduated from high school in Big Valley and later graduated from the University of Alberta as a teacher.  Along with her husband Harlen she was a farmer and businessperson in the Stettler and Big Valley area her entire life. 

Lois is survived by her children:  Laura (Lee) Brown, Ann (Les) Muhlbach and Bill (Brenda) Turville; grandchildren:  Trish (Tim) Henderson, Jackie (Kerry) Freeman, Karen (David) Zimmerman, Rob (Alina) Turville, Rich (Natalie) Turville and Patrick (Emma) Turville; great grandchildren:  Luke, Wynne, Elliot, Alivia, Alexia, Anika, Russell, Ruby, Jake, Lucas, Serena, Jocelyn and Alyssa; brother Doug Johnston; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Lois is predeceased by husband and partner Harlen; grandson John Muhlbach; parents Bill and Marjorie Johnston; brother Robert Johnston; sister-in-law Marilyn Johnston and mother-in-law Viola Turville.

A graveside service was held at the Lake View Cemetery, Stettler, AB with Rev.
