I have many good memories of Scott and his family, from the 1970's when I worked at the old Merit Hardware store. Scott's old truck was the "wonder machine" that just kept running... His laugh is one I will never forget, and it was my pleasure to have known him. I remember every fall when hunting season came around, he and his buddies would get together and make sausage. ( I think they ate more than what ended up in the freezer, but it was always a good time, and great sausage. I asked him for his recipe for deer sausage one time, and he winked, and said, " five deer, two pigs, and half a cow." My boys fondly remember standing on PopShoppe crates to play the pinball machines in the arcade at the back of the Shoppe, He was so good to the kids. Louis and Betty de Beaudrap, Stettler Ab.
