I read of the passing of Elaine in our local paper - Tofield Mercury. My mother (Anne Poettcker) and Elaine became great friends living side by side in Tofield. They would visit each other in their housecoats and slippers. I know my mom had many fond memories of her and loved her almost as a sister. I watched the service online and appreciated the words that Doug, Sharon and Sandra shared about their mom. She really did wear "compassion and grace" as a sweater. You, as a family, have many great memories of your mom that will encourage you through these days and what peace it brings to know that she is with her heavenly Father experiencing only joy.
