Obituary of Margaret Dorothy Gainer

The family of Margaret Dorothy Gainer is saddened to announce her passing. Margaret passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in the Stettler Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 72 years. Margaret Taggart was born on August 2, 1938 to parents Edith and Bill Taggart of Gadsby. Margaret joined two half sisters Edna and Lizzie and was followed later by brothers Ed and Gordon. In the late 1960’s Margaret met and married Max Gainer and to this union two sons were born, Jim and Eddie. Margaret enjoyed the farm and gardening and especially loved flowers. Margaret will be remembered as a very hard worker and a truly devoted and loving wife and mother. Margaret will be sadly missed by her two sons Jim Gainer of Donalda and Eddie Gainer of Drumheller; brother Ed (Marie) Taggart of Donalda; aunts Doris (Joe) Meyer of Osoyoos and Evelyn Johnson of Red Deer; other family and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Max Gainer; brother Gordon Taggart; half sisters Edna Johnson and Lizzie Heer. Memorial donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Red Willow Cemetery or a charity of choice.
