Barry is survived by his loving family: wife Ellen Thomson of Stettler; sons: Allan (Mailinda) Thomson of Calgary, Bob (Teresa) Thomson of Red Deer County, Todd (Wendy) Thomson of Stettler; daughter Shelly (Kevin) Kolodychuk of Red Deer; stepsons Jody (Louise) Hoefling of Forestburg and Jamie Hoefling (Michelle Rawe) of Forestburg; grandchildren: Richelle Thomson, Blake Thomson, Eric Thomson, Charlene (Greg) Hainsworth, Brandon Broome, Madison Kolodychuk, Summer Kolodychuk; step grandson John Hoefling; great grandchildren: Joseph, Thomas, Connor, Micheal and Harper Hainsworth; sister Cherie (Al) Gaetz of Eckville; sisters in law Valorie Hunter of Surrey, BC and Audrey Nimilowich of Edmonton; brother in law Walter Solvason of Coronation; nieces, nephews, other family and many dear friends.
