Obituary of Barry Whymark
In Loving Memory of
Barry Whymark
February 15, 1950 ~ September 26, 2018
Barry passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at home on the family farm. Barry was the second child born to Susan and Reg Whymark on February 15th, 1950.
In 1969 Barry moved to work in Wetaskiwin, where he met and married the love of his life Rosemary. Barry and Rose were married June 30th, 1972 in Wetaskiwin and remained there until moving back to take over the family farm in 1974.
Mixed farming, hunting, trapping, baseball and hockey were all passions of his throughout his life. Although Barry and Rose never had children of their own, they loved and spoiled rotten all of their friends and family’s children. Kids loved Barry and he would entertain them with his exciting stories and unique sense of humour.
Always willing to help out, he could be found helping to build new community facilities or at neighbors harvesting or branding.
