I first came to know Julie at bingo down town. Although we never knew Julie's children, we were residents of the same Stettler neighbourhood and always chatted with Julie and Stewart if they were outdoors working diligently to keep their's and the town property surrounding them so very beautiful.. It was evident that her and Stewart had a gifted love for gardening together. Once I saw from our window them walking on a cool winter day with Stewart trailing as by now his health was dwindling. With Julie in lead and a stick to guide her steps, she turned back to rearrange his scarf and button his coat more tightly... It will always remind me of their true love for one another and will forever stay in my memory .. may you rest in your new home prettied up as you liked to do, along with your many beloved bead necklaces.

Dear Donald and family,
I am very sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. She was always lots of fun, out playing ball with us kids and always feeding us when we popped in. I had my Dad’s movies transferred to dvds last year and there was a camping trip on there where we were all in Banff and your mom was playing in the playground with us kids and playing log tag where we all ran along the logs surrounding the campsites trying to not get tagged. Your dear mom was laughing and having a great time. I hope you cherish all the good memories of her, your dad and Gordon and that they bring you peace.
Take good care,
Faye

Julie and Stewart were neighbors with my Grandma and I will always remember when they took my brother and I ice fishing. I was told many times to sit still and stay put lol. Did I listen..no. Instead I found a nice mound of snow/ice and thought it smart to jump on it repeatedly....that mound gave way and into the cold water I went in a red snow suit and was quickly snatched out (water was shallow thank goodness) and spent the rest of the day in the old car ( think it was blue) in my birthday suit with the car running so I could stay warm. No way were they leaving the lake that early....great memory
