Times change and we with time, but not in ways of friendship.
Lorrie had a light within that sparkled through the love of a good laugh. She had a unique sense of humor, a quick wit and will ever be remembered for her ability to tease unmercifully..
She was a friend from Grade 3 through 12 and beyond. Unfortunately distances of geography and those from different paths in life meant we''d drifted from communicating regularly. It is with sadness that I learned of her passing, and with love that she will be remembered. I shall always appreciate her light within and that of her mom and dad -- a remarkable couple who knew how to tease and inspire awkward teens. Coming of age on the veranda of the Gilbert Family home with Lorrie as a friend was unmatched. She and Steve and their boys, and Eileen and Elmer will always be in my heart.
