Merritt Joseph Hoath was born on March 19, 1945 at Edmonton, Alberta to parents Almeda Clara (Kelsey) and Grenville Joseph Hoath. Merritt passed away on January 9, 2017 in Calgary, Alberta. Merritt was a longtime resident of Byemoor, Alberta.
Merritt is survived by his daughters: Laurel Hoath of the United Kingdom, Cheryle Hill of the United Kingdom and Tammy Martin of Stettler, Alberta; nine grandchildren; six great grandcdhildren; five sisters and brothers; other family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Linda Elaine Hoath (Samel).
