Obituary of Emery Gyurica

Emery passed peacefully in his sleep at home in Big Valley, Alberta. He is survived by his younger sister Irene (Bernie Eurchuk); daughter Dorothy Elizabeth; son James Spencer; as well as a myriad of Crosby, Eurchuk and Vance nieces, nephews and other extended family. Emery was a retired technical writer for Valmet Automation; he was a passionate Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park volunteer and a lover of good music who enjoyed playing the guitar. To honor Emery’s wishes no formal funeral service will be held. In memory of Emery donations are gratefully accepted to the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology in Drumheller or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
