Louis is survived by his loving family: daughters: Cathy Mailer of Stettler, Donna Scheerschmidt of Stettler and Sandra Scheerschmidt-Storek (Carmine) of Botha; son Brian (Carol) Scheerschmidt of Beaumont; grandchildren: Ryan (Sheri) Mailer, Marsha Mailer (Ryan Nixon), Robbie Lutz, Danny Lutz, Kayla Scheerschmidt, Sarah Scheerschmidt and Christian Scheerschmidt; great grandchildren: Joshua, Molly, Piper, Emma and Connor;
sister Louise Fischer; sisters in law Margaret Merchant and Blanche McKay; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many dear friends.
