My sincerest condolences to Wilda's family on her passing. I worked with Wilda at the Museum while I was in university and she was a wonderful, kind and caring lady. And she made the very best Nanimo squares! We continued emailing for the next 15 years. I looked forward to her email updates and Christmas cards. I will miss her dearly.

We were saddened to hear of Wilda's death. Wilda was always so welcoming when our large family would come to visit her and Earl at their farm. As a young girl I (Lorraine Junck) have fond memories of staying there and learning a bit about farm life. Wilda was always patient and would clear up myths that Bob and Bill would tell us city kids, always letting us in on the joke . Wilda was a truly beautiful person , a life long learner and teacher. She will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know her. Our condolences to the family and may your fond memories help you through this difficult time. Love, Steve and Lorraine Schmaltz.

Although I haven't seen Wilda often since my childhood I will always remember and be grateful for her warmth, laughter and wonderful smile. She was always kind and patient with us city kids and our sometimes awkward questions about farm animals and country life.
As a former heritage interpreter and Glenbow Museum staff member, I appreciate Wilda's contribution to the Stettler Museum and her work to share the local history with others.
Carolyn and I wish to express our sincere condolences to Wilda's family and friends. She will be missed by many.

We were saddened to hear of Wilda's death. I (Linda Junck) have many fond memories of her patience and sense of humour when we were kids. The fact that the museum actually lowered the flag must make you very proud of her accomplishments and contributions to her community. Our sympathies to all of you.

We feel for you, Wilda's Family, in your loss and we want to send our care.
We appreciated Wilda coming out to our place last January to make sure we had heard about the passing of Joe Johnson.
I visited her in the hospital, and found her very poorly. Now she is gone.
With loving care, Your friends, Wm & Norma Stewart
