Dale was a good curler, and managed to keep us in the prize round each spring at Deer Lodge. We shall cherish the many curling memories, the dances, the social times with the Henrys. Debbie, Randy and Susan were growing up with our family, and it has been fun watching them over the years. We shall miss your dad.

To the family of Dale Henry,
I was saddened to learn of Dale's passing. I was a longtime colleague of Dale's in the MSC. Although we did not work together in the same office we had many contacts as managers in the Service. I was Director General of Planning and and Policy, DG of Central Services as well as DG of of the Weather Services. So I had continual personal contacts with regional managers such as Dale. Furthermore, I was affair of Dale's work through his regional colleagues such as Mike Balshaw and the late Jack Labelle and Van Gordon. I can attest that Dale was an outstanding meteorologist and a dedicated public servant as well as a very pleasant and intelligent gentleman..
Please accept my condolences for his untimely passing.
Yours sincerely,
Gordon Shimizu
West Vancouver BC.

My deepest sympathies to Dale's family. I first met Dale as a young meteorologist at the Manitoba Weather Centre in 1969. His patience, kindness and understanding helped me and many others learn the finer points of weather forecasting. He was a fine meteorologist and an excellent manager.

We wish to express our sympathy to the family of Dale Henry. We first met in Montreal when we were both in the Master's program at McGill in 1962 and remained friends and colleagues throughout our lives. A fine man and an excellent meteorologist.

My deepest sympathy to Dale's family at this sad time. I knew Dale at the (then) Atmospheric Environment Service for many years. During many posting and management conferences I greatly valued his quiet humor, ingenuity and immense compassion. A dictionary's definition of "gentleman" will include a picture of Dale!
An honour to have known him.

So sorry to hear of Dale's passing. He was a terrific fellow. He was bright, caring, gentlemanly, motivated, a hard worker and a keen scholar. We were buddies during high school and university years. We also played baseball with the Browning team. Dale was always a great host during our visits in Winnipeg and Arizona. We send our condolences to all his family and especially Blanche.
Sincerely, Art & Lorraine Veroba
