Betty and family. We are very sorry for your loss. Aunt Vera was one of the truly good people that I know. When Mom passed away she was my sister Mary's lifesaver, going out of her way to ensure that she would get through it. When Marie and I visited Stettler in 2000, we stopped at her house in Erskine and asked if we could park our tent trailer in the yard for a couple of days. Not only did she insist that we do so, but that we join her for supper. She said that she didn't know that we were coming but she knew that someone would be there so she had cooked a roast for supper. We didin't want to be any bother but she insisted that we stay for supper. Aunt Vera was always there for our family and was one of the truly great ladies. I am sure you will miss her a lot. I know that we will cherish her memory.
