To Ilene's family, our deepest sympathy is sent to each and every one of you. Many years ago I worked with Ilene at the nursing home. Art was a resident at the time and there was Ilene helping her husband. She always had a story to tell about some member of her very large family. She was such a giving person and someone that I had a lot of laughs with. She was such a wonderful lady with a beautiful smile, she will always be remembered in our hearts. We were totally "shocked" to learn of Ilene's state of ongoing poor health and final passing! So glad we had a good visit with her at the Lagore reunion this past August - little did we know it would be our last. We will always remember her with much love and are thankful she no longer suffers. She was a gentle, loving soul who was very, very proud of her large family. Unfortunately, Glen has a neurology appointment on Monday so we are unable to attend her memorial or we would surely be there. By remembering the many happy times shared, may it help to ease you loss at this very sad time. Ilene was a very strong lady and we will sorely miss her. God bless!
