Obituary of Florence Lattery
Our most loved and respected wife, mom, grandma and great grandma “Florence Marie Lattery” was born September 8, 1938 at Fairholm, SK. She went to God on August 19, 2010. Florence will be missed and forever loved by her husband of 55 years John; her children: David (Cheryl), Deanna (Brent), Donald (Joyce), Darcy (Jacquie) and was predeceased by infant daughter Darla; ten grandchildren who had a very special place in her heart: Tyson (Brianne), Luke (Barbie), Kyla (Patrick), Amber (Steve), Nicole (Robert), Seth, Clinton, Nolan (Reann), Ashley (Ryan) and step granddaughter Savanna; five great grandchildren she loved very much: Chelsey, Dylan, Teagan, Jayse and Beck.
Mom was the most devoted, wonderful and loving lady, to her, family was everything. There was always room in her heart for more friends and family, who all held an honored place in her life. Her great love for horses, dogs, flowers and music was well known. Mom was a very spiritual person and greatly enjoyed cowboy church. Mom will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 with Pastor Ross Helgeton officiating. Don and Joyce Lattery presented the family tribute. Evelyn Strandquist played the organ for the congregational hymns and for the musical selection of “One Day At A Time” by Evelyn Shursen, Roy Klaus and Lettie Wyzykoski.
