Nadine, I am so sorry about your family's loss. Some of my best times at Certigard were because of Jason. His sense of humor was always right on. I can't begin to describe how much I was looking forward to working with him again. He always busted his ass, always was good for morale - and you never knew what was going to strike him as funny, and because of that everyone's work day was always a little bit of an adventure. Some of the things that would set him to laughing would escape the rest of us at first - sometimes - and if he had to explain it, well, that just made it that much funnier to him. I always admired his sense of family, and loyalty to you and his girls. He was so proud of his girls. If he was having a bad day, and you could get him to talk about his girls for a little bit, you could turn his day around. I am definitely going to miss him. In the years that I knew him, I watched him grow as a father, a good man, and a damn fine technician. His passing is heartbreaking for so many people, he had so many more friends than he realized. I don't know if I will ever be able to get my brain around the fact that he's gone now. When he would stop by the shop just for a chat and a coffee, I always got a chuckle out of the conversation, and I'm going to miss that.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend his memorial service, I still have to run the shop. But I wish you and the girls all the best in this very difficult time in your lives. Our thoughts and prayers are of Jay and his family.
I hope you rest in peace Froggy, you little french fried ******! Find the peace that you lost in life. You will be sorely missed.
