Obituary of Darla Frances Lambert

Darla Frances Bolin was born September 13, 1967 in Stettler, Alberta to Olga Bolin and Floyd Schultz, the youngest child in a family of six. Darla grew up in the Bashaw and Stettler area and attended school in Stettler. On September 4, 1999 she married the love of her life, Clayton Lambert. She worked in various restaurants in Stettler and Bashaw and for the last few years, was head cook at Paragon Place, where she was loved by the residents and staff. She enjoyed camping, cooking, texting and visiting with friends. She had the ability to find any person, like an amateur private investigator. Collecting was a passion of Darla’s, from dishes to a rather large collection of blankets, she always said that there is no such thing as too many blankets. Family was very important to Darla; she loved being Auntie to Kenny, Samantha, Madison, Charmaine, Zach, Arielle, Holly, Tim, Marty, Tara, Daniel, Jessica, Selene, Ryan, Cody, Kari and Kyle. She will truly be missed. She leaves to mourn her husband Clayton, and her beloved best buddy Willie whom she adored; her sisters Louise Matier (Russ Bish) and her family, Joyce (Bernie) Strome; her brothers Bob, Pat, Doug Bolin and their families; father and mother in law Del and Edwina Lambert; sister in law Glenda (David) Peyton and their children Tim, Holly and Marty; long time friends: Shereen Braun, Joanne Niehaus, Jeanette Williams and Nora Charles; as well as other relatives and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her mother and father Olga Bolin and Floyd Schultz; special auntie and uncle, Marie and Ted Leicht; special cousin Darcy Leicht; and first original buddy Cody.
