My grandma, Barbara Ann Diegel was the best person I’ve ever met, still to this day. Even though she passed when I was 6 years old, I still remember her as if she was alive yesterday. no one has been able to take her place in being the best person I’ve ever met. She always told my mom that she wished that she could watch me and my sister grow up, I hope she was able to as we are all grown up now. I hope she is at peace, and I hope to see her one day, till then it’ll only be in my dreams and memories.

My first "birth family" contact was with Barb. We shared many phone calls & I had the privilege of meeting with her only once - but we had such an amazing good time and an unbelievable connection! She was so accepting of me & in that short time, I came to realize what an incredible person she was!! I am so sorry for our great loss - her presence will be missed and her life was taken too soon. My sister Barb, was an amazing sister, best friend, Mother , Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was the Unit that always held us all together in the good times and the bad times! She could also kick your butt in most card games and would welcome everyone into her home even when she wasnt feeling that well. I love ya sis, I hope now you are in no more pain, wish things didnt have to happen like this, but I will see you and Mom and Dad in Heaven....Rest in peace ....Love Sharon
