My condolences to the Stock family. I would count Jef as being one of my best friends for many years. My father Don Seamans also passed away this year from the Carseland area (originally fom Castor). Forgive me but I have been trying to find Jef for the last 20 yrs, please pass this email onto him, I would love to get in touch with him (I now live in australia). My sincere condolences to the family. Lisa kelly liskakelly@yahoo.com

And so the circle of life for Dave has been completed. I so wish I coul be there to share in your grief and celebrate the man Dave was to all of us. A kind, generous, humorous charcter who loved to smile. Many fond memories of crib games and parties. Best friends of my parents Ted and Doris Roberts.
There is an awesome replica of an elevator in the Reynolds Museum. A good insight to Dave's working life, an integral part of prairie life, the Wheat Pool elevator man.
Love to you all, Vicki Roberts

My sincerest sympathy and condolences to you all in the loss of Dave. Your parents and My parents were great friends and I always remember my parents saying that after all these years they were away from Strathmore they always kept in touch with your folks and remained such good friends. Being the youngest in our family the old story that I remember My Mother and Dad talking about was when I was born and Mom would be doing the laundry and all My diapers would be hanging out on the line and your Dad would continuously tease my parents about that. Well Mom was not much for mincing her words and always had an answer with her great sense of humour as well, she yelled across the fence to your Dad that he should not talk so loose, as it could very well happen to the "Stock Clan" of a new addition as well. Sure enough, it was not long after my arrival that Jef came along and Dave ate his words, and they all laughed about that. Our parents enjoyed some great times together, lots of parties, coffee visits, laughs and babysitting. Now it is such a loss for you and I they are all gone and our generation left behind. Hold onto your memories and talk of them often it keeps them near to your heart. Love to you all. Sincerely Doug Scott
