Obituary of Ruby Ann Green

Ruby Ann Green passed away on December 26, 2012 at the Stettler Health Care Centre at the age of 63 years. Ruby was born May 25, 1949 at Ochre River, Manitoba to parents Ann and Clarence Graves. She moved to Stettler in 1991 and worked at the Bottle Depot for 6 years; she also volunteered at Stettler Superfluity for a number of years. She attended Heartland Cowboy Church where she made many friends. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 21 years Glen Wason; her children: Cindy (Iggy) Severin, Debbie (Brian) Cockshott, Tracey (Sam) Holtz and Benny Green; grandchildren Michael, Melissa, Jessica, Cody, JC, Nick, Tyler, Michael, Dylan, Haley, Chantelle and Shawn; and 7 great grandchildren; step children: Debbie (Rob), Heather (Lars), Shelley (George), Shannon (Russ), Jeff (Lynda); step grandchildren: Nick, Lyndon, Crystal, Connor, Ethan, Joseph, Shanden, Alexis and Shanda; her siblings: Marilyn, Chuck, Vicky (James Leboe), Donny and Wanda (Tim Weger); her Aunt Sylvia and Uncle Ken Lowther. Ruby had many friends, which were extended family in her heart; especially Bernice Clausen and Danilynn Jordan; her grand babies were her most precious things in life. She was predeceased by her parents Annabelle in Calgary in 2008 and Clarence Graves on Vancouver Island in 1991 and her son Chris Barton in 1985.
